To ceremoniously commemorate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, on June 16, 2001, Netis held a keynote speech competition entitled “Following the CPC, Forging Ahead with Netis”.
After rounds of selection, a total of 17 contestants participated in the speech contest on behalf of their departments. The contestants carefully studied the history of the CPC and related knowledge in their spare time, selected topics, wrote speeches and practiced to made preparations in terms of dress, expression and on-the-spot performance.
According to the order of drawing lots and scoring rules, the judges are composed of 7 persons from the Party Committee of New Economic Organization and New Social Organization of Pingxiang Development Zone, the general Party branch of the industrial park, the Party branch and the management of the Company and the labor union, who will adhere to fair and impartial selection.
Before the contest, leaders of the Company, leaders of the Party Committee of New Economic Organization and New Social Organization of the development zone and leaders of the industrial park delivered speeches respectively.
The contestants threw themselves into the speech with full passion and self-confidence to sang the great achievements of the Communist Party of China in the past 100 years, described their growth process and their understanding of the party’s socialist road, and expounded the importance of establishing a proper world outlook, and view of life and values. They expressed the pursuit of communist belief, and determined to contribute youth and strength to Netis in their posts.

After the speech contest, Yang Liudi, Secretary of the Party Branch of the Company, read his music poem Ode to the Party Flag, which pushed the speech contest to a climax and aroused sympathy in audience.

This speech contest was highly praised by the Party Committee of New Economic Organization and New Social Organization of Pingxiang Development Zone. The employees attended the contest thought it was wonderful and beneficial, and full of positive energy. The contestants were excited for the expression of their style, their writing and performance skills and improved ideological level.
